Tonight my brother from another mother Ty Clark aka @samo4prez shared a meal, drank some beer, dug deep into some conversation & installed the latest of his paintings titled, Timshel.

Inspired by John Steinbecks novel, East Of Eden & the terrifically painful year that was 2014 this painting speaks directly from the depths of my heart. I commissioned Ty to create a piece that would allow these stories to live, breathe & release their truths through his gift.

I can’t thank my brother enough for pouring his own talent into this piece. For listening to my pain, my love…my story. Taking all of that in & opening his craft of creation through art on canvas.

Love you brother…Thou Mayest!

“And I feel that I am a man. And I feel that a man is a very important thing – maybe more important than a star. This is not theology. I have no bent towards Gods. But I have a new love for that glittering instrument, the human soul, it is a lovely & unique thing. It is always attacked & never destroyed – because ‘THOU MAYEST.'”
