A day in the life walking through San Juan Del Sur on the coast of Nicaragua. Took it down a notch, relaxed & checked out the old fishing villages & surf towns. Managed to stumble upon two spots for dinner each night that had outdoor brick ovens. Ordered up a SoCal pizza & NorCal pizza last night…SoCal won. Took down the local brews each night, Toña & Victoria (photos coming soon).
We did manage to host our own version of BBi beach Olympics with jog, staggered sprints, sand mountain climb competition, open ocean swim & entertained a reef wall climb but opted for beers instead.
Woke at sunrise this morning for team run & surf at Madera Beach. The surf was quality & chill. Post workout discovered great breakfast spot called Café Revolution for smoothies, breakfast burritos, americanos & banana pancakes. Cafés motto is surf:art:community or as we like to call it, Jesus:Dolphins:Dream Catchers (photos coming soon).
On the road again today heading north to Estelí to check out the next Big Idea in sustainable coffee roasting & harvesting. Stay tuned!
Big waves & tank tops,
